Ranadeep

Ranadeep is an experimental artist. A few years back he came across the beautiful world of fractals by chance – and ever since he has been more and more attracted to it. In his own words –

“I’m naturally curious and believe in variations. A signature style has always eluded me and I often end up making series of works that are completely different from each other in styles, forms, colors etc. I aim to create something for everyone…something that will appeal to the eyes…something that will appeal to the soul…and I do not care about the medium or technicality involved in the process of creating them. Hence, I work with various fractal software, digital software, apps, platforms etc. and often mix them together to get the final piece of work.

Small incidents of life, bigger events that change who and what we are about, a passing thought, a sudden mood or maybe some whimsical perceptions – these are my inspirations and are often reflected in my works.”

The Non-Representationals – A Collection of Fractal based Digital Abstraction Series
by Ranadeep

“The NonRepresentationals” is a collection of various series of Fractal based Digital Abstractions. Each series consists of several pieces of works. These are:

~ Series: Colors of the Dark (6 pieces)
~ Series: “Colors…”, She Said! (10 pieces)
~ Series: Chaotic Abstractions (6 pieces)
~ Series: Theory of Mind (4 pieces)
~ Series: Creation Myths (4 pieces)
~ Series: Hive Minds (4 pieces)

Come see the colors that emerge out of the darkness and scatter around, the forms that begin small and spread all over and let your mind interpret them with its own perception.

Ajax Ogleby’s Opening Event

When an artist can capture a photograph that you can place in many venue’s regardless of the place of origin they have surely captured a place that is timeless in nature. The works of Ajax Ogleby do such a feat.

The photographs were presented in a relief of black and white, the shadows playing softly into your minds eye. The light play along with the fades into the soothing grays transported you into that scene and had everyone wondering where the road would take you.

Come and see which roads Ajax’s work will awaken in you.

Ajax Ogleby

Official Ajax Ogleby Biography

Ajax Ogleby has been collecting art for many years in second life. After some time, he decided to build several galleries as displays for his collection. No one noticed, no one came. It occurred to him that perhaps creating art was the way to go. So, he pursued a career as a second life photographer, documenting all the crazy things he saw in second life. Difficult as it was, he was determined not to let a lack of talent or taste interfere with becoming successful.
Three long years later he finally admitted that, as his daddy always used to say, “You can wrap a tiger up in ribbons but it still has it’s stripes…or pajamas…or something.” A change in approach was needed. After consulting several online e coaches about how to win success and influence art, Ajax realized what he needed was a sponsor, someone that, at least, looked like they had talent that he could represent. Since second life itself is set up on the premise of the same as, but completely different, Ajax was sure that this was the answer.
Ajax chose a real life photographer and imported (stole) his images off his computer and into second life. He then modeled himself as an avatar fronting for a real life photographer or person. The same as, but different. Finally Ajax was a “real photographer”.
Gallery showings soon followed, which true to form, no one attended or has heard of, but oh the adulation and prestige were all Ajax’s now. Ajax was positive that the path of being what you aren’t, of showing what isn’t, will truly show everyone who you are and what is really there. As you peruse the show, please feel free to pour a glass of adulation or cup of prestige all over Ajax, its what he lives for.

Ana Oceanida’s Opening Event

Welcome to the inner thoughts and intricate wanderings of Ana Oceanida. The whole atmosphere surrounds and transports you inside the eye and artistry captured by the lens of the photographer…

Once inside her world you can imagine the emotions that have been displayed with a dark and shadowy path. The use of black and white promotes the images with a dark flair.

Images woven from second life and real life blend together to awaken what puzzles lie behind the fascade we call life.

The photographs show an abiding talent for perspective and the medium use of negative color had everyone spell bound and caught in the artist web inside the “Orphams”.
